"I will come back"
[Jesus said], "When everything is ready, I will come and
get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.
And you know where I am going and how to get there."
John 14:3-4 NLT
His promise to return
As a child, George Tulloch was fascinated by stories of
the Titanic.…In 1996 he put together a team of the best
scientists and sailors and set out to the exact spot where
the Titanic sank in 1912. He and his crew were able to
recover numerous artifacts from the ship — eyeglasses,
jewelry, dishware, some coins and the like. But the most
exciting thing they found was a large piece of the hull
resting several hundred yards away.
The team did its best to raise the twenty-ton piece of iron,
but to no avail. At one point the team almost had it.…but a
storm blew in and.…the Atlantic reclaimed its treasure.
Then Tulloch did something surprising before they were
forced to retreat. He descended into the deep once more in
a small submarine, and using... (more)
Life nba playoffs
Well, after last night's depressing post I felt it necessary to talk about one of my favorite things on this planet: basketball. I was sitting at TGI Friday's last night where I watched Steph Curry and company win their second straight game in Oracle Arena against the Rockets. Curry, the 2014-2015 MVP nailed 5 three pointers, and controlled the tempo for most of the game.It would be pretty disrespectful to disregard the effort put forth by the Rockets, however. Harden and Howard combined for over 50 points and kept them right in it until the final play of the game. Harden never should have passed that ball to Howard at the top of the key. Coming off a missed reverse layup by Harrison Barnes, all the Rockets needed to do was take the ball and drive to the hoop. Harden is great at initiating contact and drawing the foul. He actually did catch Steph with a stepback, but passed it away rather than try to shoot it. I'd have to go back and look, but I'm pretty sure Kevin McHale... (more)
Daily Devotion The Joy Of The Lord
Date: Friday, May 22, 2015
Chapters: Nehemiah 8-10
Message Title: The Joy Of The Lord
Hello My Friend,
The joy of the Lord, when life rips apart our joy, we do not have to sit there and take it, we do not have to get depressed and go over every detail, blaming ourselves for what happened. We do not have to feel like a failure, because we are not. We are human beings with human feelings, we love, laugh, cry, get angry, and jealous, but we are made in the very image of God, and that means God feels what we feel. Don't let the devil steal your joy, get to Jesus and He will give you the strength to keep going. “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed;... (more)

Ten po prawej, obok szaletu, przedstawial pierwszego premiera Islandii Hannesa Hafsteina, a ten po lewej byl odlana z brazu figura krola Danii trzymajacego w dloni akt niepodleglosci. To, co ta niepodleglosc dala Islandii, dobrze obrazuje pewne zludzenie optyczne.

The Common Ills Iraq snapshot
Iraq snapshotThursday, May 21, 2015. Chaos and violence continue, politicians continue lying about Iraq, Haider al-Abadi goes off on a whirlwind trip to Russia, Barack insists that the Islamic State is not winning in Iraq, and much more.
Throughout this week, I've repeatedly stressed that the only politician with a national profile who can tell the truth on Iraq is former Senator Mike Gravel. No one else can.
Today, Fritz comes along to prove me . . . right.
Former Senator Ernest F. Hollings comes along to prove that, while a train can whistle, a politician can only lie.
"Why America invaded -- and failed in -- Iraq," finds Fritz name dropping ("my old desk partner, Joe Biden"), envious of other countries ("What does Mossad say about Iraq?") but mainly just lying. Lying to himself and others.
Fritz insists he was against the Iraq War . . . before he was for it. See speaking to then-Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, sharp as a tack Fritz noticed Rumsfeld didn't answer him... (more)
