Hedge Funds World Global Opportunities Conference 2008
New York - On June 11 and 12, Integrity will be covering the Hedge Funds World Global Opportunities Conference in New York. This conference is organized and hosted by Terrapinn,
which runs events for industry professionals that promote idea exchange
and networking. The firm puts on dozens of conferences each year for
financial services professionals. Some of these conferences focus on
bringing together investors with an interest in specific geographic
regions (e.g. Asia or Africa), while some will focus on bringing
together investors that share methodological approaches (e.g. quant
investing). Conferences are held all over the world and cover a variety
of topics.
The upcoming Hedge Funds World Global Opportunities Conference will
focus on bringing together emerging market investors and fund managers.
Over the course of four days (June 10-13), there will be workshops,
panel discussions, roundtables and networking sessions. These various
events will cover a wide range of issues, including the global emerging
market landscape, asset allocation, frontier markets, hedge fund
selection, fund administration, hedge fund/private equity convergence,
reinsurance/capital markets convergence, investor sentiment, sovereign
and local currency debt, and distressed securities in the emerging
markets, among many others. There will also be dedicated panels to
Asia, Africa and Latin America. For a full conference agenda, see: http://www.terrapinn.com/2008/hfwgo/programme.stm
