Management Changes at Vista Research
New York, NY - Vista Research, one of the leading providers of expert network services, experienced a significant management change last week as Stanton Green, CEO of the firm, resigned to take a similar role at well-known channel check firm, Off The Record Research.
Stanton was a Managing Director at Standard & Poor's and President of Vista Research. He had been with Vista Research since the firm's inception, oversaw its growth into a leader in the expert network business, and was instrumental in the sale and integration of the firm to S&P.
In his new role, Stanton will be managing Off The Record Research (OTR). OTR has developed a well established business providing regular and customized channel check research for the asset management and hedge fund community. OTR currently has a team of more than 170 investigative reporters and a network of over 35,000 expert sources who participate in regular surveys on over 400 public companies in more than 100 industry sectors. Stanton will be starting with OTR in early July, 2007.
Anne Maffei, previously the COO and CFO of Vista Research, will be replacing Stanton, effective immediately. Ms. Maffei will be appointed managing director and head of Vista Research, reporting to Larry Neal, executive managing director of Equity Research.
Prior to her role at Vista, Anne co-founded the Cedar Street Group, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage investments. Previously, Anne was an investment banker at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and at JP Morgan and held corporate development positions at Johnson & Johnson and at Walker Digital, the parent company to priceline.com. Anne holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Political Science from Wellesley College.
