Save the Date: Investorside Independents' Day
New York—Investorside Research Association, the U.S. non-profit
trade association for the independent research industry, has scheduled its
fourth annual Independents’ Day conference on April 7th, 2008. Investorside is changing the format of the
conference to focus more on showcasing its membership for institutional
investors.
This year’s conference will include panels discussing
different types of research and new research technologies, such as expert
networks, search-based research and research management systems. The heart of the conference will be a series
of breakout sessions allowing investors to meet with specific research
providers to better understand their offerings.
The conference, which will take place at the Grand Hyatt,
expects to increase attendance by institutional investors, partly through the
efforts of sponsors such as Goldman Sachs’ Hudson Street Services. Executive Director Pat Shea is working
closely with Investorside members to finalize the agenda.
